We offer you an amazing fishing experience. The Abrolhos Islands consist of 122 islands clustered into three main groups that stretch from north to south along the Leeuwin Current. The Wallabi Group contains the site of the famous Batavia shipwreck. The Easter Group lies in the middle, and the Pelsart Group is the southernmost cluster. The islands are home to beautiful protected coral reefs and are a very popular destination for birdwatching, with many different species across the various locations.

Lynda Jeffrey reviewed Pelican Abrolhos Islands— 5 star May 23, 2017

I had organised a 4 day Abrolhos Island charter for 10 people in April. Unfortunately our boat blew an engine and the skipper put us onto Pelican Charters yo book from 11 to 14 May. This turned out to be a most wonderful time. We were accommodated on Pelican’s new ship, Live Wire.

It was 4 days of luxury including air conditioned cabins and full bunks. Hot showers and a full galley which was put to good use. Hot coffee from the coffee machine to get us going in the morning. The meals were first class and full marks to Pete, Brandon and deckie, Luke who not only put us onto plenty of fish of all varieties, but looked after all of our needs.

Being a twin jet boat, they could navigate into shallow water that other skippers can only dream of. This enabled us to snorkel off the boat for crays and some jumbos were caught and went towards a fantastic reef and beef dinner. This charter has spoiled me and I couldn’t go past Pelican for any other trips like this.

We’ve just come back from a 5 day fishing and diving charter to the Abrolhos, and what a bloody trip! The vessel is superb (brand new fit out, luxury living)! The crew are fantastic! Great food, great banter, and we even bagged out on fish and crays. To anyone thinking about doing a trip, it’s worth every dollar, and this is definitely the boat you want to be on!
